Larissa von der Howen

founded nexthop communications in 2000 and is the Managing Director of the agency. She has more than 17 years of experience in PR, marketing communications and journalism. Larissa began her career in 1995 at CompuServe Germany in the marketing communications department after her studies in economics and business administration in Europe (Germany, Italy & Spain). Additional waypoints in her professional career include pan-european PR agency Herald Communications (today Fleishman-Hillard) and the well-known weekly publication Computer Reseller News.

Georg von der Howen

looks back at over 19 years of experience as an IT-journalist, chief editor and publisher. Since 2006 he is Managing Partner at nexthop. He began his career in 1993 as a freelance IT-journalist in Munich. His professional career includes the position as chief editor of the well-known IT trade magazine LANline. In 2004 he founded and published the technical trade magazine 'IT-Administrator'. Georg holds a master's degree in communication science from the University of Munich.

Larissa & Georg von der Howen are visiting lecturers at the Institute of Communications Sciences at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in Munich where they teach "PR and Journalism".

Mariele Wolbring

joined the nexthop team in the beginning of 2007. She looks back on seven years of experience in IT PR and is looking after our clients in the software, security and IT services sector. Before joining nexthop, Mariele worked at PR agencies Kiesewetter and Print.

The philosophy, approach and attitude of nexthop are coined by the core team of the agency. Our complete team, however, comprises a lot more dedicated, experienced and professional colleagues and partners, who all contribute to the success of our clients.
